1Who We Are & Scope

Powerman Technology Training (Pty) Ltd ("PMTT", "we", "us"), 6 Willow Street, Rhodesfield, Kempton Park, Gauteng, is the "responsible party" for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"). This policy explains what we collect when you use pmttraining.co.za, enrol in a course, or interact with us.

2Personal Information We Collect

• Enrolment data: first name, surname, email address, phone number, and the course(s) you select.
• Identity & learner records: for enrolled learners — ID/passport number, next of kin details, and training and assessment records required for accreditation.
• Payment data: proof-of-payment documents. Card payments are processed by our accredited card payment processor — we never receive or store your card number, CVV or PIN.
• Communications: messages you send us through this website, WhatsApp, email or our contact form.
• Technical data: basic device/browser information and pages visited, used to keep the website working and secure.

3How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information to:

• process enrolments and manage your training, assessment and certification records;
• take and administer payments and issue refunds;
• communicate with you about your enrolment, course dates and campus logistics;
• provide job placement assistance — only where you ask us to, for example sharing your CV with employers in our network;
• comply with legal, accreditation and quality-assurance obligations (including TETA and QCTO reporting);
• improve our website and services.

POPIA lawful bases: to perform our contract with you, as required by law, with your consent, and for our legitimate interests in operating a safe and effective training centre.

4Marketing

We may send you information about intakes and courses you have shown interest in. You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" or clicking the unsubscribe link in any message, and we will stop.

5Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Card payment processor: to process card payments securely, under their own privacy terms;
• Employers in our network — only your CV/profile, and only when you request job placement assistance;
• Accreditation bodies: TETA, QCTO and relevant SETAs, where certification or quality assurance requires it;
• Service providers who help us operate (e.g. hosting, email delivery), bound to protect your information; and
• Authorities, where the law requires or to protect someone's safety.

6Security & Retention

We keep personal information on systems with access controls, and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above — typically at least the period required by accreditation and consumer-protection law. Learner certification records are retained as required by TETA/QCTO. When it is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.

7Cookies & Website Analytics

This website uses only the minimal cookies needed to function. We do not use advertising trackers. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to our content.

8Your Rights Under POPIA

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Ask us to correct or update it;
• Ask us to delete it (Deletion Notice), where retention is not legally required;
• Object to processing, or withdraw consent for optional processing such as marketing or job placement assistance;
• Complain to us at info@pmttraining.co.za, or to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

We respond to requests within a reasonable period and may verify your identity before acting.

9Children

Our courses are for learners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be drawn to enrolled learners' attention. See also our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
